"Hounds On Holiday was exactly the solution we were looking for when our regular dog-sitter advised us that she would not be available to watch our 2 ½ year old yellow lab during our planned vacation. We were very reluctant to board Griffin in a kennel as he has never spent a night apart from some sort of human companionship and we worried that it was too late to start. We loved the idea of Griffin being ‘fostered’ with a surrogate family in our absence and we definitely appreciated being part of the decision-making process when it came time to choose his host family.  

Hounds On Holiday was great about providing us with updates during our vacation whenever we asked, and the journal and pictures provided to us by Griffin’s host family at the end of his holiday was also a great touch! Although Griffin appeared happy to be home, he did not seem the least bit upset or worried about our temporary disappearance. We would definitely recommend this service to anyone who is looking to provide their dog with the ultimate pet care experience, without having to pay extra for them to receive the ongoing companionship and affection that every dog deserves!
