"We truly cannot say enough about the services provided Hounds On Holiday. Our initial phone call relieved any worries we had of leaving our wee Teacup Yorkie puppy. I really could not imagine leaving our puppy in a kennel, especially due to her size and age. They came to meet our puppy and to learn all about her routines, feeding schedule, personality etc. and created a pet schedule for the host family. We felt assured that the host families were thoroughly screened and then they carefully reviewed with us which family would be best suited, based on our family routines, activity level and our pup’s personality. We also received a Host Profile detailing the family who would be taking care of our pup. They continued their diligence by picking up our puppy the day we left for holiday, and went out of their way to call with an update once our girl was with her host family. Too, we were emailed part way throughout our trip out of country just to let us know how she was doing, and was sent some beautiful pictures.

We rave about Hounds On Holiday to all of our friends who, like us, are nervous leaving their dogs in kennels. Our host family took wonderful care of our puppy and treated her like she was their own. Again, once we arrived home, they promptly dropped our puppy home to us and took the time to share our pup’s week. We also received a journal from our host family, which reflected day-to-day events, new friends she met and funny stories – they even saved the baby tooth for us that she lost. Our children loved reading it and learning about our puppy’s holiday.

We would highly recommend Hounds On Holiday, and plan on booking again in the very near future. They can be trusted to provide superior service, a listening ear, a loving home, and above all will make certain that you can leave knowing your pet is safe, loved and well taken care of.
