We are a typical family, Mom, Dad and four boys, 23, 20, 16 and our hairy 8 year old (actually close to 60 in dog years!) Dugan our Golden Doodle is very much part of our family and he is the reason we are so fortunate to have found Hounds on Holiday pet service. I would never just drop off any of my children to any daycare or sleepover without making sure they were in good hands, safe and in the best environment when not in our home. Dugan our beloved pet is no exception! Putting him in a kennel was not a option for us. Hounds on Holiday makes it possible for our family to go away on vacation and feel confident that Dugan is in safe hands, happy and in a similar home environment. When we go away, he isn’t traumatized. He is on his own vacation!

Our experience with Hounds on Holiday has been exceptional. The process from start to finish is very professional and exciting all at the same time! Dugan was interviewed and all info was recorded, helping them decide which family best suited his personality and living habits. We were so pleased to be part of the decision by reading about and seeing pictures of the host family. When they picked up Dugan he happily jumped into their SUV for his new adventure. We felt at ease the whole time we were away and knew Dugan would have a fabulous time. He was in great spirits when he came home from his vacation and it was so much fun reading the journal the host family wrote about his stay. He has an extended family now, allowing us to get away without having to worry about Dugan. It will be interesting to see how he reacts next time he visits his foster family!
